Students will experience a series of movement exercises that consider Presence, Focus, Physical Awareness and Space work, Individual physical warmups, and group improvisations.  With Bill, students will work to strengthen and relax the actor’s body, expand their movement vocabulary, and open the physical imagination.

Using Fundamentals of Etienne Decroux and Marcel Marceau, students will develop a foundation of Corporeal Mime, as well as proficiencies in illusory exercises.  The program introduces multiple approaches to creating new physically based theater work and gives the students the opportunity to apply these new techniques in their own performance work.
